Created Out of Boredom?
Happy birthday to me!!! I am truly thankful to God for another year the Lord has made me see and as I reflect on my life and why God has created me, I am reminded that God did not create us out of boredom. He was very intentional concerning every step He took concerning each and every one of us. He had a plan and purpose for us before He started forming us in our mother’s womb. We are reminded of this truth in Jeremiah 1:4-5 when He says, “4 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (NKJV). The same goes for any marriage ordained by God. God is so intentional about it.
Marriage is more than just having sex or giving birth to children. It is way bigger than that. Marriage is a union between two people of purpose, fusing together to achieve a purpose ordained by God in pointing souls back to His kingdom of light. This ultimate purpose can be executed in different ways such as demonstrating to the world that a relationship can be pure (from having a courtship filled with holiness to a marriage without blemish or infidelity); raising godly children that excel in life and take territories in their God-given domains; displaying to the world that marriage could be joyful in the synergy developed between you and your spouse; excelling in the different fields (secular and spiritual) God has placed us in as a testament of His goodness; developing a synergy between your children as a display of unity and harmony that the Trinity enjoys; being a blessing to the community and world at large through different love-filled contributions. My mandate from God is bringing restoration and transformation to families, and alongside my husband, we are bringing restoration and transformation to all by preaching, teaching and demonstrating the gospel of Jesus Christ. Everything we do or who we are should always point back to Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. We are living ambassadors for Jesus Christ and our relationships should be one as well. God’s heartbeat is souls. He is head over heels about souls. He desires to see souls restored back to His kingdom of light and He has chosen each and every one of us believers to be instruments in His hands.
To the Singles: Every time that temptation comes for you to defile yourself in your relationship, remember God created you for a purpose and you’re His ambassador. Joseph decided not to defile himself with Potiphar’s wife, even if the offer looked like a “good” deal.
To the Husbands: Whenever it seems challenging to love the wife God gave you, remember you’re a vessel in displaying the sacrificial love of Christ to her. It’s no wonder it says “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her” (Ephesians 5: 25 NKJV).
To the Wives: Whenever respecting your husband seems not so appealing or you’re willing to say things that would surely press his buttons, remember that you respecting him or speaking words filled with grace and seasoned with salt are a display of your love and service to Jesus Christ (Colossians 4:6; Ephesians 5:24).
To the Unsaved: The creator of the universe and your life is crazily in love with you and desires to see you fulfil a life of purpose with His help. He has a designated helper called the Holy Spirit, who is so excited to guide you as you take steps in becoming who God has created you to be. In order to access the Holy Spirit, you need to submit your life to Him by opening your heart to Jesus Christ. If you will like to make this decision right now, please say this prayer with me:
“Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you are the Son of God and I believe You died for me on the cross of Calvary. I know I am a sinner and today, I come to You to forgive me for all my sins and to make me a brand new creation. I accept You as my personal Lord and Saviour. Thank you, Lord, for forgiving me and making me born again, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Congratulations!!!! You are now born-again! This means you share the same DNA as Jesus Christ and, because of you, there is a great celebration in heaven right now!
If you made this decision, I would love to hear from you today and provide resources for this new journey! Please leave a comment on this post or reach out to me at https://www.cccghq.org/contact-us
